Returning Student Enrollment

Registration For Current GMSD Students

 
This registration is for students who are CURRENTLY ENROLLED in this system. This includes Germantown residents and non-residents.
 
Students who are currently enrolled in a GMSD school will register online beginning July 1st. Returning Student Registration is a required online process through Skyward Family Access for all students currently enrolled and who will be returning of the 2019-2020 school year.
 
  
 
Please be prepared to upload the following documents that will be required to register:
 
A. Proofs of Residence: Parents/Guardians must provide TWO of the following items showing the parent's/guardian’s name and address to prove residency

1.     Most recent MLGW OR municipal water bill of the owner, renter or lessee of the home in which the student will reside during the current school year. Cut off notices will not be accepted;
2.     Mortgage statement or deed of the owner of the home in which the student will reside during the current school year;
3.     Official lease of the lessee of the home in which the student will reside during the current school year;
4.     Official Rental Agreement of the renter of the home in which the student will reside during the current school year;
5.     Real Estate tax receipt (Current year only);
6.     Public assistance/government benefits check, card, or papers;
 
B. Tennessee Department of Health Immunization Requirements for Public School (only for children entering Kindergarten and 7th grade) :
 

 Children enrolling in Kindergarten:

Diphtheria-Tetanus-Pertussis (DTaP, or DT if appropriate)

Poliomyelitis (IPV or OPV): final dose on or after the 4th birthday required

Hepatitis B (HBV)

Hepatitis A: total of 2 doses, spaced at least 6 months apart

Measles, Mumps, Rubella (2 doses of each, usually given together as MMR)

Varicella (2 doses or history of disease)
 

All children entering 7th grade (including currently enrolled students):

Verification of immunity to varicella: 2 doses or credible history of disease
 
Tetanus-diphtheria-pertussis booster (“Tdap”): evidence of one Tdap dose given any time before 7th grade entry is required regardless of Td history (2013 update)

 

Children who are new enrollees in a TN school in grades other than Kindergarten:

1to1 Device Payment (For Middle and High School only)

The link below will lead you to My School Bucks, where you can pay your 1:1 device maintenance fee. Device deployment will occur prior to school starting. More information on deployment will be coming soon. Paying your device fee during registration will ensure that there are no delays in picking up your child's device. My School Bucks allows you to pay by debit or credit card. You will be able to pay with a check at the school, but it might slow down the device depolyment process. 

Go to https://www.myschoolbucks.com/ from a desktop or laptop computer. The site may not work properly from a mobile device.

a.  From the School Store tab, click on Categories > iPad Maintenance (Middle School) or Categories > Laptop Maintenance (High School)

b.  Fill out form completely and click ADD TO BASKET

c.   Click on Shopping Basket in upper right corner to complete the payment.

If you have any problems paying the fee online, you may also bring a check, made out to the school, during device deployment.
