FHES Kindergarten Camp: Going on an Adventure

 
It's time to register for Kindergarten Camp! Camp is available to students entering Kindergarten at Forest Hill Elementary in the 2019-2020 school year. We are so thankful to Dogwood Elementary for hosting us for camp this year. Please be sure to mark FHES at the top of your registration form (link provided) and make checks payable to Dogwood Elementary. You can turn your registration and payment in to the front office at Dogwood, Riverdale, or Farmington or you can mail it to Dogwood Elementary.

Houston High School is collecting old shoes.

Houston High, Farmington, and Riverdale are hosting a shoe drive!

Germantown, Tennessee--March 25, 2019--Houston High, Farmington, and Riverdale are having a shoe drive!

Here is how it works:

  1. We are accepting gently worn, used and new adult and/or children shoes through April 15th
  2. Acceptable shoes are flip flops, tennis shoes, heels, boots, sandals…
  3. Shoes will be picked up by Funds2Org, a for profit organization, who will redistribute to microenterprise partners and used in developing nations for impoverished people to start their own businesses.
  4. Funds2Org will pay per pound and send a check to Operation Red Shoes (on behalf of GMSD), a non-profit organization, who benefits St. Jude patients and families with essential assistance.
  5. Once Operation Red Shoes receives a check, they will host an event for those involved to be a part of the giveaway to the St. Jude patient and family.
