HHS student Alexander Buckley wins scholarship aimed at bringing awareness to drowsy driving

A special congratulations to Houston High's very own Alexander Buckley, shown here with Principal Kyle Cherry and executive Director of the Kyle Kiihnl Foundation, Joni Fox, for winning this year's Kyle Kiihnl Memorial Scholarship of $1,000.

Alexander wrote a compelling essay on how one could help combat drowsy driving using a social marketing campaign to better generate public awareness and encourage prevention of this deadly practice. He even utilized his gift in graphic design to specially design poster for the campaign along with his application.
