March 9, 2020--Germantown, Tennessee-- David Burns, a well-known artist, professor, and architect recently came and spoke at Houston High School about his work. David started out explaining to the students about his humble beginnings at UT Knox, and gaining a bachelor’s degree in architecture. After completing his bachelors, he left to live in Chicago and figure out where he wanted to go from there. He then decided to apply to Columbia University and he was accepted with flying colors. His career blasted off from then, and he completed several projects. Designing the entire Andy Warhol Museum is one of his greatest achievements. He has also taught at Auburn and Carnegie Mellon University, before moved to the University of Technology in Sydney Australia. In Sydney he created the entire digital media and photography program, and extremely impressive achievement. While he was talking to our students he touched on many different subjects including tips on photography, designing, and how to make it in the world. Overall David Burns has made many amazing projects and we are looking forward to what he does next.
