Volunteers needed for Vesta Home Show

Driving around Germantown during the holiday season is always a wonderful time, with houses decorated fantastically and streets aglow with twinkling lights. Excitingly, this year some of these local homes will be even more beautiful than the norm, thanks to the Vesta Home Show.

Every year, the Home Builders’ Association selects a different community to celebrate and showcase a fantastic holiday display within in the Vesta Home Show. For the third time since its beginning fifteen years ago, Germantown has been selected. This November 18th through December 10th, six brand-new homes in Germantown’s Chapel Cove will be transformed into winter wonderlands by renowned interior designers.  Community members can enjoy these phenomenal displays and support GMSD by purchasing tickets, of which a portion of the proceeds go to the Charity of the Year: the Germantown Education Foundation. Tickets are just $13 and available for purchase at http://www.vestashow.com/tickets/ .

Apart of this showcase also involves celebrating new technologies, innovative thinking, and other fantastic happenings in the featured community. This, of course, includes the Germantown Municipal School District.

Students have the opportunity to showcase their performing talents alongside the beautiful homes at a variety of stages, and volunteers of the stage fright variety are also needed to assist in the driving of patrons to and from the parking lot in golf carts, running the Germantown Education Foundation tent, and more. Those who volunteer will also have the opportunity to enjoy these holiday displays free of charge. Sign up for the corresponding date you wish to work at the links below:
