Germantown Municipal School District Raises $19,915 for St. Jude to help put an end to childhood cancer

Germantown, Tennessee—October 2, 2018—GMSD students and teachers gathred on a rainy Saturday morning on the St. Jude Campus to participate in the annual Walk Run. This year, each decided to participate in the even to make St. Jude their first semester community service focus. Each school was represented by a parent volunteer to aid in planning of the lead up events and fundraising. This committee helped each schol to recruit runners. The feat of distributing t-shirts and race information wouldn't have been possible without the dedication of these volunteers. The schools combined were able to raise just under $20,000 for the children at St. Jude.
