Another spectacular Houston High Homecoming for the books

Germantown, Tennessee--October 1, 2018-- Houston High Homecoming week has arrived, and with it has arrived all the homecoming festivities! From dress-up-days to decorated halls, school spirit can be found everywhere during the week. The theme of the week centered on the idea of a Journey through the USA.  Monday was "Orlando Day" and was host to costumes and get-ups that bring all of Orlando's favorite tourist destinations to mind. On Tuesday students dressed in high fashion for New York City Day.  Wednesday took the students to the western part of the country for Portland Day.  Thursday celebrated Houston, Texas day in full cowboy attire.  On Friday, the journey ended right here in the robust City of Memphis--deemed "901 Day".

On Friday, the day of the homecoming game, grade levels could decorate their assigned hallways, with the senior class being able to decorate the lobby! The lobby was Memphis-themed, correlating with Friday's dressup theme, and the lobby was decorated to resemble landmarks around memphis such as Jerry's snocones, Huey's, the Peabody, and more.
