GMSD moves forward with security camera upgrades this summer
Germantown, Tennessee--July 2, 2018--
Germantown Municipal School District is working on security upgrades over the summer. District staff has engaged the architecture firm, Allen and Hoshall, to complete design work for the addition of security fencing and a secured entrance at Houston High School. Principally though, the district is also using this summer as an opportunity to complete its long range goals of security camera upgrades across all five schools. On security walks with the Germantown Police Department, district officials had previously identified where cameras needed to be placed or replaced.
