Riverdale Kindergarten Camp 2018

Join us for our annual Riverdale Kindergarten Camp

Dates: June 4th – 8th
Time: 8:30 – 11:30
Who:  students entering Kindergarten at Riverdale for the 2018-2019 school year
Cost: $100 per child

Registration deadline:  May 11, 2018
[Campers will be enrolled on a first-come, first-served basis. Classes will be closed when maximum capacity is reached.]

Jr. Honors Academy (7th graders only)

Jr. Honors Academy (7th graders only)

The purpose of the Jr. Honors Academy is to provide additional academic opportunities and field experiences for students currently excelling in the middle school setting. We will be accepting applications from current 7th graders who will attend Riverdale Elementary for their 8th grade year in 2018-19.

Timeline:
March 23-April 6: Application Period
April 23-April 30: Interviews and writing ocmponents for those who receive invitations
May 14-16: Students informed of acceptance

Applications are due April 6, 2018. No late applications will be considered. If you do not currently attend a GMSD school, you must submit a 6th and 7th grade report card in order for your application to be considered.

Students in grades 7-9 across the region spent their Saturday auditioning for judges in competition for a coveted spot in the WTVMEA Junior High School Honor Choir (All-West).  This year, thirteen of our students across three schools (Houston High School, Riverdale, and Houston Middle School) have made the prestigious group.  More +
