NEW FOOD SERVICE MANAGEMENT COMPANY
GMSD is excited to announce our new food service management company, Southwest Foodservice Excellence (SFE) for the 2020-21 school year.  SFE was selected after a lengthy selection process during the Spring of 2020 and was approved by the TN Office of School Nutrition.  To learn more about SFE’s program, please visit their website at https://sfellc.com/

SCHOOL BREAKFAST AND LUNCH PROGRAMS
The school breakfast program will be distributed through a “grab and go” process and students will eat breakfast in their classrooms, except at Dogwood Elementary School (DES).   DES students will have breakfast socially distanced in the cafeteria.  Students in grades 2 and above will obtain lunches from the cafeteria and will return to and consume meals in their classrooms, or other spaces to mitigate the potential spread of the COVID-19 virus.  Lunches will be delivered to the classrooms for grades PreK to 1 and for students with special needs.  If a PreK to 1st-grade student wants to get lunch that day may tell their teacher that morning.

ACCESS LUNCH/BREAKFAST MENUS
Students who usually purchase lunch at school should check the menus as selections will be adjusted based on portability and ease of delivery. School menus will be available on the GMSD School Nutrition website with our new feature, Nutrislice, at https://gmsdk12.nutrislice.com/menu

ADD MONEY TO YOUR CHILD'S MEAL ACCOUNT
Parents who would like their child to order breakfast or lunch from the cafeteria should be sure cash balances are added to their child’s lunch account. For questions regarding your child’s school nutrition balance, please check MySchoolBucks or contact the school cafeteria manager directly. Parents may deposit funds now into their student’s online school meal accounts through MySchoolBucks, at http://www.gmsdk12.org/MySchoolBucks--OnlinePayment.aspx
