Telemedicine Services through MedWatch's Call-A-Doc
GMSD has partnered with Health Cost Solutions to offer a telehealth provider to our employees and dependents who are currently enrolled in our medical insurance plans. This resource will allow our employees and covered dependents to have access to a medical doctor via phone or video consultation 24 hours a day 7 days a week from the comfort (and safety) of their homes to address common medical conditions that do not require emergency attention.
View the informational flyer on MedWatch's Call-A-Doc as well as Step Sheets for activating an account either by phone or online and adding covered dependents to the account. GMSD employees can register and begin utilizing their 24/7 Call-A-Doc account TODAY!
Helpful Tips for Activating Call-A-Doc:
- You will need to have your HCS Medical Card handy for the activation process. The activation page asks for a "Member ID Number" this number is the 11 digit Cert # on your HCS Medical Benefits Card.
- You will need to make note of the auto generated username (either print off Step 4: Order Confirmation or write down the username on the MedWatch flyer) before closing out of the activation browser. Otherwise, you will need to call Call-A-Doc to retrieve your username information.
- Once your account is activated, you will need to log into your Call-A-Doc account to add your covered dependents (see step sheet for directions on how to add family members)
