GMSD Summer Camps
GMSD wants to provide our students and our community with enrichment all throughout the year. During the summer, students can participate in a multitude of camps to keep up with friends, practice hobbies and academics, and of course, learn new skills. Each GMSD camp is designed to help students foster new relationships, build their confidence in each activity they participate in, and have fun!

Summer Activities Camps
HMS Day Camp
HMS is hosting a summer day camp! Campers can expect a day full of fun as they participate in arts & crafts projects, team building activities, and PE style games. This camp is for grades 3-8, and it will take place at Houston Middle School, 9400 Wolf River Blvd, Germantown, TN in Gym A.

Pickleball Camp
The Pickleball Summer Camp will be led by HHS Seniors that will share their knowledge and expertise with our younger community members on the skills needed to compete in Pickleball! All skill levels are welcome as we will provided a progression of skill development. This camp is open to rising K-8 graders, and each camper will need to bring a snack, a water bottle, and a pickleball paddle. Be sure to wear tennis shoes and athletic attire. This camp will take place at Dogwood Elementary School, 8945 Dogwood Rd, Germantown, TN, in the gym.

Riverdale All Sports Camp
This camp is designed for kids who love sports! Each day we will divide into teams and play all sorts of games including wiffleball, dodgeball, soccer, basketball, floor hockey, and many, many more. This camp specializes in having fun and learning new sports with a strong focus on sportsmanship. Boys and girls of all skill levels are welcome, and campers will need to bring a drink and a snack! Be sure to wear athletic wear and tennis shoes (no sandals or Crocs). This camp is for rising 2-6 graders, and it will take place at Riverdale Elementary School, 7391 Neshoba Rd, Germantown, TN in Gym A.

Riverdale STEM & Robotics Camp
This camp is 100% hands-on and sure to excite campers as they are introduced to a variety of STEM principles, robotics, and some RaiderTV production skills. This camp promotes teamwork, critical thinking, project management, and communication sills - important skills required to prepare students in becoming the next generation of innovators and problem solvers! This camp is for rising 2-8 graders, and campers need to be sure to bring a drink and a snack. It will take place at Riverdale Elementary School, 7391 Neshoba Rd, Germantown, TN.

Riverdale Pickleball Camp
This camps is designed for kids who are interested in learn ing more about pickleball! Each day we will focus on different skills and rules of the game. This camp specializes in having fun and learning all aspects of pickleball with a strong focus in sportsmanship. Harry Potter: Camp Hogwarts
Do you have what it takes to be a wizard? Join us in a week of fun as we explore the books, perform spells, craft potions, and live out your dream as a student in Hogwarts! This camp is open to grades 2-6. Campers will need to bring a water bottler, but snacks will be provided! This camp will take place at Dogwood Elementary School, 8945 Dogwood Road, Germantown, TN.

Coast to Coast Exploration Camp
This camp is designed to immerse campers in a world of imagination, creativity, and fun. Each day will feature a new destination filled with crafts, games, snacks activities, and a G-rated animated movie related to our travel! This camp is open to grades 1-4. Campers will need to bring a water bottler, but snacks will be provided! This camp will take place at Dogwood Elementary School, 8945 Dogwood Road, Germantown, TN in room 410.

Archery Camp
Come join and learn about archery! Learn to shoot a bow and arrow while also enjoying other fun activities with friends. This camp is open to rising 6-9 graders, and each camper will need to bring a snack, a water bottle, and be sure to wear closed toed shoes. There are 2 action-packed sessions to choose from. This camp will take place at Forest Hill Elementary School, 3368 Forest Hill Irene Rd, Germantown, TN.

Middle School Math Camp
HMS wants to help prepare you for the coming school year! This camp is for rising 7-8 graders, and we will be hitting the key skills that will assist you in your next stage of your math education in middle school. Emphasis on (current 6th) integers, solving equations, proportionality. Emphasis on (current 7th) solving equations, slope, and functions. Fluency games and hands-on activities will also be incorporated daily. Students need to be sure to bring a drink, and snacks will be provided. This camp will take place at Houston Middle School, 9400 Wolf River Blvd, Germantown, TN.

Story Time & Spa Camp
Join us for a week of relaxation, creativity, and fun at our K-2 Spa Camp! Each day features a storytime, hands-on spa activities (bath bombs, facials, mani-pedis & more!), and mindfulness crafts to inspire self-care and confidence. This camp is open to grades K-2, and campers will need to bring a water bottle! This camp will take place at Dogwood Elementary School, 8945 Dogwood Road, Germantown, TN.

Storybook Chefs Camp
At Storybook Chefs Cooking Camp, K-3 young chefs and book lovers will mix imagination with ingredients as we dive into favorite storybooks and create fun, tasty recipes inspired by each tale. From baking magical treats straight out of fairy tales, to whipping up whimsical snacks from beloved pictures books, each day is filled with hands-on cooking, storytelling, creativity, and laughter! This camp is open to grades K-3, and campers need to bring a water bottle. This camp will take place at Dogwood Elementary School, 8945 Dogwood Road, Germantown, TN.

Dogwood's Pure Imagination Drama Camp
This fun-filled, action-packed week will bring creativity to life! This week-long summer program is designed for elementary and middle school students eager to explore the world of theater and unleash their inner stars. Through a variety of engaging stations and hands-on activities, campers will dive into the thrilling world of acting, singing, set design, crew work, sound, lighting, and so much more! 5th Grade Math Prep Camp
Forest Hill is hosting 5th Grade Math Prep Camp to help GMSD rising 5th graders gear up for the next school year! Students will reinforce skills necessary to help navigate fifth grade math, including concepts covering fractions, multiplication and division, interpreting word problems, and modeling to help find solution paths. Students need to bring a drink and a snack, and be ready to learn! This camp will take place at Forest Hill Elementary School, 3368 Forest Hill Irene Road, Germantown, TN.

Welcome to Middle School Math Camp
HMS wants to help rising 6th graders prepare you for the coming school year! For rising 6th graders (current 5th graders), we will be getting a jump start on middle school math. We will emphasize fraction and decimal operations, introductions to ratios, rates, unit rates, and start to work with unknowns (Algebra). We will have fluency games and hands-on activities daily. Pom Mini Dance Camp
This camp is taught by the state champion HHS varsity pom team. Campers will explore fun ways of expression through dance. A short routine will be taught that parents may watch at the end of the camp on Friday. Campers need to wear athletic clothing and tennis shoes, and be sure to bring a drink! (A snack will be provided.) This camp is open to upcoming K-5th graders, and it will take place in the varsity gym at Houston High School, 9755 Wolf River Blvd, Germantown, TN.

Houston Soccer Camp
Houston High School is hosting soccer camp for boys and girls. This camp will have skills training, small-sided games, fitness work, and fun! This camp is for ages 4-13. Sessions take place at the Mustang Soccer Complex at Houston Middle School, 9400 Wolf River Blvd, Germantown, TN. Each athlete needs to be sure to bring a drink and a snack, and be sure to wear your cleats and shinguards!

Mustang Baseball Camp
Houston High School is hosting baseball camp this summer! Campers will work on all aspects of baseball - hitting, fielding, throwing, and baserunning. Leadership and sportsmanship are huge focuses of this camp, and we work on those topics every morning of camp. Campers are welcome to bring a drink and a snack, but there will also be drinks and snacks for purchase. Campers need to wear tennis shoes or molded cleats, shorts or baseball pants, and a t-shirt or baseball jersey (no tank tops allowed). This camp is for grades K-7 and will be held at Bill Avant Field at Houston High School, 9755 Wolf River Blvd, Germantown, TN.

The Houston Little Lady Mustangs Basketball Camp will provide foundational basketball instruction from the varsity coaching staff as well as varsity team members. Players will need to have all lacrosse gear including helmet, shoulder pads, arms pads, gloves, and stick. Camp will be on the HHS Turf, so cleats or turf shoes are recommended. Athletes will need to be sure to bring a drink! This camp will take place at Houston High School's Landers Ford Stadium, 9755 Wolf River Blvd, Germantown, TN.

This camp is open to grades 3-8, and campers need to wear softball clothing, cleats, and tennis shoes. Houston Middle School is hosting Mustang Basketball Academy for boys and girls in grades 3-8. This camp is designed for athletes to improve their game.
