Germantown, Tennessee—September 22nd, 2021— Assistant Principal Robert LeGault and Mrs. Watkins and held the initial Farmington School Nutrition Council meeting this morning. The student representatives learned about the NFL Fuel Up to Play 60 initiative. The NFL’s Fuel Up to Play 60 is the nation’s leading youth wellness program. The kids learned how to sign up to earn points for our school and they have been challenged to get 5 additional classmates to sign up for the program. If they can obtain 5 additional student sign ups, they will receive the prize of free Ice Cream.

The student representatives then transitioned into the kitchen area, where they learned and prepared yogurt parfaits for themselves and to sell during breakfast. The students, Mrs. Watkins, and Mr. LeGault really enjoyed our morning together and will meet again in December. For more information on the NFL’s Fuel Up to Play 60 program, click here
