Germantown Municipal Television (GMTV) is your source for comprehensive coverage of Germantown’s government, community events, and local news. Broadcasting on UVerse Channel 99 and Comcast Channel 1311, GMTV airs all official city meetings, including the Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BMA), the Germantown Board of Education, and various commission meetings, ensuring you stay informed about important decisions and developments in our community.
Germantown schools also manage several official YouTube channels, offering even more ways to stay connected. These channels feature student-created content, school news, event coverage, and other engaging stories.

Livestreams are aired across several YouTube channels: Germantown Municipal Television, Germantown Municipal School District, and You Are Houston. Each GMSD school also maintains its own YouTube channel with livestreaming capabilities, ensuring easy access to a wide range of events and activities

Athletic Coverage with HUDL Technology
GMTV also manages six HUDL cameras across Germantown athletic facilities, including Houston High School’s varsity football stadium, varsity gym, softball complex, and baseball field, as well as Houston Middle School’s new gym and soccer stadium.
