Why is breakfast important?

Starting your day with breakfast is a very important part to a student's day. It allows their mind and body to prepare for the day ahead. Here are some of the many benefits to breakfast:

  • Students reach a higher level of achievement in reading and math.
  • Students score higher on standardized tests.
  • Students have better concentration and memory
  • Students are more alert.

All GMSD Schools offer breakfast 30 minutes prior to school starting. We would love to serve your child to ensure that they are ready to tackle a new day of learning!
