Creative Sparks Fly: GMSD Students Sweep Art and Writing Honors
Students across Germantown Municipal School District were recognized for their creativity in the 2024–25 GMC PTO Art and Writing Contest, which celebrated work in visual arts, writing, photography, and digital media. Winners from every grade band and school impressed judges with their talent and imagination—view their work here.
The Germantown Municipal Council PTO has announced the winners of its 2024–2025 Art and Writing Contest, recognizing exceptional creativity and talent across the district. Open to all K–12 students in Germantown Municipal School District, the annual contest celebrates original student work in categories including visual arts, photography, digital art, short stories, poetry, and personal narratives.
From whimsical illustrations by our youngest artists to powerful personal narratives from high school students, this year’s entries showcased the wide range of imagination and skill within GMSD. More than 60 students were recognized with first, second, and third place honors, as well as honorable mentions across multiple grade bands. Students from every school in the district, including the GOAL online academy, were represented in this year’s winning roster.
