Germantown Municipal School District is proud to announce the 2026 School Level Teachers of the Year. These educators represent the heart of our classrooms and the spirit of excellence that defines GMSD. They were selected by their peers for their impact, leadership, and unwavering dedication to students.


Elementary School Honorees

Middle School Honorees

Each School Level Teacher of the Year embodies what it means to inspire and elevate learning in GMSD. These educators demonstrate excellence in teaching by using innovative, research-based strategies and fostering environments where students feel challenged, supported, and inspired. Their influence is evident in both student achievement and school culture.


Teachers selected for this honor show a deep commitment to their craft. They can clearly articulate their personal teaching philosophy, stay informed on current educational trends, and serve as leaders within their buildings and the broader community. They participate in professional development, champion extracurricular activities, and consistently model a love of learning. Above all, they have earned the respect of their students, colleagues, and families.


Districtwide Teacher of the Year awards, along with Principal and Supervisor of the Year, will be announced the week of December 1. Stay tuned for this next round of celebrations.
