Snapshots: GMSD's Creative Approach to Teacher Recruitment

A happy young woman smiles for the camera wearing a beige sweater, holding up a green, shoe-shaped flyer

GMSD wrapped up its innovative Snapshots teacher recruitment events with an impressive turnout of teacher candidates. The Snapshots series gave applicants a chance to get up close and personal with each school—experiencing the campus, meeting students and staff, and getting a real sense of the school’s culture. This year, we’re celebrating the creative planners behind each event: Dogwood’s airline-themed “Fly Dogwood,” Farmington’s “Slam Dunk,” Houston High’s “Glow Up,” Houston Middle School’s “Top Chef—Recipes for Success,” Forest Hill’s coffee-inspired “Brewing Something Good,” and Riverdale’s western-themed “Wanted.” Check out the slideshow above for a closer look at these unique Snapshots.

Stay tuned—GMSD will begin posting available (25-26) teaching positions very soon. Apply at https://www.gmsdk12.org/departments/human-resources/careers.
