Dogwood Honor Choir selected to perform at the Tennessee Educator Association Conference

Every year at the Tennessee Music Educator Association Conference the TN Treble Honor Choir performs at the opening ceremony. This event is attended by over 1,000 students, music teachers from every level, and parents.

"The group performs insanely advanced pieces of music, making this an elite group of outstanding students," wrote HMS band teacher Spencer Nesvick in an email sent to the Recap Staff.

Last year Peter Simons, the Dogwood music teacher, had three students make the group. This year he had ten exceptional students earn a spot, which is the highest amount any individual school can have in the group. With this improvement, excellence, and musicality, Dogwood Elementary is exemplifying greatness throughout the whole community.
