Rally for Allie Goes Viral

Houston High and Middle School Students have continued to “Rally for Allie” with many acts of kindness and generosity.

Over the weekend, our very own Allie Allen has gone viral—thanks to the national blog, Mashable.com.

Allen, diagnosed with anaplastic ependymoma when she was 14 years old has recently relapsed. Allie had to undergo chemotherapy and consequently shave her head.

When her date came to pick her up for homecoming (at a neighboring school), he had shaved his head in support. The picture of the pair is precious.
