Zambezi River Hippo Camp Gets Some Branding Help From GMSD Students

This spring, the Memphis Zoo opens a brand new exhibit – Zambezi River Hippo Camp. As with previous exhibit openings, they have hosted an art contest for local students. The contest started with 271 pieces from 69 schools. After three days of voting by employees, docents and volunteers, the top four picks of celebrity judges were announced.
All winners (1st place through Honorable Mention) will be invited along with their art teachers to a ceremony to be held at the Zoo. In addition, the first place winners from each grade level will have their artwork, name, grade and school featured on MATA bus terminals throughout Memphis, as well as on banners displayed within the Zoo.
