Behind every discovery is a CURIOUS MIND--Camp Invention Registration

Camp Invention is a summer enrichment program for current Kindergarten-5th graders who attend any GMSD schools. With curricula that presents them with real-world challenges and promotes the direct application of 21st Century critical-thinking and communication skills through hands-on STEM and entrepreneurship content, this camp has much to offer.

Camp Invention inspires children to be curious about their world and prepares them for the future. The program is taught by our very own certified GMSD teachers who receive professional development training. Our offerings for all elementary schools will take place at Houston Middle School this summer—as some of our buildings (Riverdale and Dogwood) are projected to be under construction.

Christa Phillips, the STEM teacher at Houston High School will serve as this year’s Camp Director.
