Riverdale celebrates student artists who take top prizes in national Smokey the Bear contest

Germantown, Tennessee—June 23, 2020—Second grader, June Crawford won first place for the 2nd grade division at the national level. Jeevan Balasubramanian was a finalist at the Deep South level. Klyne Underwood and Hadley Cash were finalists at the State level of the contest. 
 
  

2nd grader, June Crawford (pictured next to her award-winning art above), won: 
1st place for 2nd grade in the State of Tennessee division
1st place for 2nd grade in the Deep South division
1st place for 2nd grade in the national division

1st grader, Jeevan Balasubramanian, won:
1st place for 1st grade in the State of Tennessee division
1st place for 1st grade in the Deep South division

4th grader, Klyne Underwood, won:
2nd place for the State of Tennessee division

5th grader, Hadley Cash, won:
2nd place for the State of Tennessee division
