Haley Polley is a rising 15-year-old artist, who just landed her first big project. She was recently chosen to create a permanent installation at Oak Court Mall in East Memphis. Oak Court is participating in a project in which they collaborate with a local artist to ultimately brighten the community, inspiring other local artists as well. The project is called the Canvas Project, and additionally, Houston High student Haley Polley was selected for this specific opportunity. Haley enjoys painting immensely and specializes in drawing people, animals, and landscapes. Of course, this is an enlightening chance for her to create something amazing. She had a single conversation with the Oak Court Management, and immediately, they confidently knew she would be able to transform what they imagined into beautiful art. As a result, Oak Court wanted the mural to be explicitly noticeable; therefore, they chose the entrance to the food court as their magic spot. The art ended up truly reflecting Memphis culture. Her art work and collaboration with Oak Court Mall is displayed below.
