2020 AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award Winner: Houston High School

Germantown, TN—January 25, 2020—Houston High School, among only 831 other schools, has been recognized for achieving the 2020 AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award from College Board. Considering approximately 1,119 schools regarding their hard work and creative approaches toward gender equality, there has been a 37% increase in the recognition from last year’s 818 schools. This award represents an astonishing improvement in the female student participation in the Advanced Placement Computer Science course. Congratulations to Houston High School for taking the challenge and diversifying the community in computer science education.
