Germantown, TN--January 26, 2021-- Four students from Houston High School have been chosen as candidates for the 2021 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program from the White House Commission and U.S. Department of Education.  Suha Arshad, Cooper Byers, Avani Garde, and Madeline Harreld have been recognized and honored as distinguished graduating high school seniors.  This honor is based on exceptional academic talent as well as high scores on standardized tests such as the ACT assessment and the College Board SAT. Out of almost 3.6 million high school seniors this year, only 4,500 students received an invitation, including these four graduating seniors from Houston High School.
