TN Ready Testing Information April 13-15 and April 19-22
March 30, 2021
Good afternoon HHS families,
HHS will be administering the TN Ready, End of Course tests, April 13-15 and April 19-22 to all students enrolled in Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, English 9, English 10, Biology and US History. During these testing days, all hybrid and virtual students will be virtual.  Students who are enrolled in the seven courses listed above will come to school on the date assigned to complete their test. Please reference the schedule attached throughout our testing window.
HHS teachers and staff will be practicing all social distance protocols to ensure safety for all of our students.  We understand there are some students who have not been on campus since last March and therefore we will continue to follow the CDC recommendations for class sizes, individual proximity, PPE requirements and limited interactions.  In addition, we will have personnel in the main lobby each day guiding students to their assigned rooms.
During the days of testing, students will be following a daily zoom schedule to meet with their teachers each day, with the exception of April 13 & 14.  Teachers will take attendance and continue to assign work, so participation in daily zooms is required.
Also, please note during this year’s Special Legislation Session on Education, The Accountability Hold Harmless Act (SB7001/HB7003) was voted into law.  Districts must meet at least an 80% in-person participation rate for state assessments to remove negative consequences associated with evaluation and accountability.
Germantown Municipal School District is working to accommodate all types of learners (in-person, fully-virtual, and hybrid) to provide a safe environment for the state assessment administration.  It is vital that all of our students make plans to participate in the assessments.
Thank you for your support in helping HHS achieve our end of year testing requirements.  We know this year has been a lot for all of us, but with the end in sight, please encourage your child to participate in this years End of Course testing.
For any questions or concerns, please reach out to Shannon Blackburn or Janna Matykiewicz.
Thank you,
HHS Administration
