*Applications for GMSD's School Choice/Open Enrollment for the upcoming 24-25 school year has closed. The information below is for Germantown Residents or Accepted Transfers. 
Are you looking to register a NEW student for the CURRENT school year (2023-2024)?  Please read the information that follows and choose the appropriate button below the text.
 
Registration for both new and returning students for the upcoming 2024-2025, will open on July 1, 2024.

Resident who reside with another Germantown resident must call the Office of Student Services to make a Shared Residency Appointment. Call 901.752.7889 to make an appointment for the 2024-2025 school year beginning on June 17. The appointments will begin on July 8th. These appointments must be completed before registration is considered complete and a student receives a schedule/homeroom teacher.
 
Kindergarten and 7th graders must submit a current Tennessee Department of Health Immunization Record in addition to their two proofs of residency. Currently enrolled sixth graders with summer birthdays will be able to register without uploading their immunization records, but submit them in person before a class schedule will be issued.

**A child must be five (5) years of age on or before August 15th of the current school term to be admitted to kindergarten.
