Germantown Municipal School District Achieves Level 5 TVAAS Status

This distinction exemplifies the district's commitment to providing high-quality education and fostering growth in its students. This growth is a direct result of the district's innovative teaching methods, rigorous curriculum, and the collaborative efforts of educators who go above and beyond to support their students.

“This achievement is a cause for celebration and pride not only for Germantown Municipal School District leaders but for the entire community it serves. It highlights the dedication of teachers, administrators, staff, parents, and students who have all played a pivotal role in demonstrating growth last year,” said Superintendent Jason Manuel.

What is TVAAS?

The Tennessee Value-Added Assessment System (TVAAS) is a measurement tool used to evaluate the progress and effectiveness of school districts in the state. Achieving Level 5 status is the highest level of distinction a district can attain, and it reflects the impact that Germantown's educators have on their students.
