The Houston High School Boys' basketball team had some fun over the last week getting to visit PE classes at GMSD elementary schools. They taught basic basketball skills like passing, dribbling, and shooting. They of course incorporated an aspect of competition, which they also used to teach the future Mustangs how to be good sports, win or lose. To end each class, they would put on a dunk fest and half court shot show. However, at Farmington elementary, the high schoolers and elementary students alike were all impressed by Mr. Coleman as he made a half court shot with his back to the goal! It was a blast for all, and a time to bring the GMSD community together.
