Germantown Municipal School District Welcomes Megan Jackson as Instructional Supervisor at Houston High School

Megan brings to this role a rich background in education, marked by 20 years of dedicated service teaching high school English,developing curriculum and supporting teachers. Her journey includes extensive work as a TDOE Core Coach and a K-12 Curriculum Supervisor, where she excelled in creating educational programs and fostering professional growth among educators. 


Megan's passion for curriculum has been the driving force of her career, emphasizing a teacher and student-centered approach that ensures academic and personal growth for both students and staff.  “I can’t wait to get into the classroom with teachers and work side-by-side with them as a true support and resource,” Megan shared when asked what excited her most about the new position.


Known for her reliability, transparency, and top-notch relationship building skills, Megan views her role not just as a supervisor but as a partner for the teachers she supports. 


Megan also has personal ties to Houston High School. She and her husband, Jeremy, a distinguished alumnus, are deeply connected to the school community. They have a rising senior at Houston, Chase, as well as a 2023 Houston High graduate, Brady. Their youngest, Savannah Grace, will be an 8th grader next year. Outside of her professional life, Megan is a prolific animal lover, having fostered nearly 20 puppies with the Tunica Humane Society over the years.
