Calendar Committee Seeking Public Feedback AND Parent Applicants
The Germantown Municipal School District needs your feedback in the design of the District Calendar for the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 school years. As we begin the process of meeting on our calendar committee, our team would like some input. 
GMSD seeking parent feedback in the quest for accreditation
Germantown Municipal School District is seeking national accreditation. This quick survey helps the evaluating entity focus it’s face-to-face assessment of our schools.  
GMSD Night at Houston High School
On Friday, August 19th, the Mustangs will host the first annual "GMSD Night" where the game and stadium will focus special attention on the feeder schools to Houston High.  
Attendance Matters
It is back-to-school time, and we want to take a moment to remind you that attendance matters for every child in every grade, from pre-Kindergarten through high school.  Please watch this short video form the Department of Education. 
What's new in the GMSD cafeterias this year?
There's a lot to get excited about in our cafeterias this year. New kiosks at the middle and high schools along with a new interactive POS system across the district are sure to resonate with both our students and parents.

BREAKING NEWS: Houston High implements new traffic patterns
UPDATED TO INCLUDE A BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF BOTH ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL TRAFFIC PATTERNS.  Please be aware of some changes to the flow of traffic around Houston High School effective immediately. In cooperation and collaboration with the City of Germantown and Germantown Municipal School District administration, we have designed a new traffic pattern in the morning at Houston High School.  
Germantown Municipal Schools announces two hires to the district leadership team
Meet two new district level leaders--Dr. Meredith Parks will serve as our Director of Academic Advancement and Sarah Huffman will serve as our Director of the Department of Exceptional Children.
