Congratulations to Blanche Barron of Riverdale, who has been named the first Teacher of the Month winner of the year! The Germantown Education Commission will celebrate Ms. Barron on Monday, October 23rd at their Board of Mayor and Alderman meeting. Mark your calendars, Raiders!

Nomination Criteria:
- The nominee must demonstrate excellence in teaching and community service.
- The nominee must teach in a Germantown school, public or private.
- The nominee does not need to reside in Germantown.
- Each application must include two letters of recommendation. Letters may be emailed to [email protected] or mailed to Germantown City Hall, Attn: Stacey Crockett, 1930 S. Germantown Road, Germantown, TN 38138.
Teacher of the month winners receive a $100 cash prize and a small trophy to display in their classroom.
