Twelve Students join the ranks of nationally recognized Commended Scholars

A National Merit Commended Scholar is a distinguished title given to students in the United States who have earned recognition from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) due to their exceptional performance on the PSAT/NMSQT (Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test). While they may not advance to the Finalist stage of the National Merit Scholarship Program, Commended Scholars rank among the highest-scoring students in the nation. Being designated as a Commended Scholar represents a significant academic accomplishment and is an esteemed honor that can enhance a student's college application. It serves as a recognition of their outstanding academic achievements and signifies their potential for ongoing success in their educational journey.

We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to this year's twelve National Merit Commended Scholars: Adam Putnam, Colby Baltz, Daniel Larrabee, Elisa Wiadacz, Ethan Assad, Jacob Geiser, Jared Jobbins, Kyfong Dai, Lucas Saxton, Samuel Hosea, Sean Chung, and Wallace Bell! These students have exhibited exceptional academic excellence and unwavering dedication to their studies, which has rightfully earned them this prestigious recognition. Their hard work and commitment to their education are truly commendable.
