Ms. Guynes is probably the happiest person I've ever met she's always happy and positive she just helps people a lot she is so thoughtful and kind everyone I think she deserves something the program is called the Milken Educator Award and the Milken Award says in a very public way the greatness and education should be recognized too you can apply we don't accept emanations you don't find us we find you we luck we search we go all over the country to find the best of the best card goes to Alexa Guynes the Milken Awards are the Oscar the teaching and so we are thrilled that we have one of our very own here in the great state of Tennessee Ms. Guynes the Dogwood actually exemplifies what we want to see in every classroom for every child in the states I wanted to be a teacher ever since I was sitting right there as I can our gardener and I never wavered this is my passion this is what I want to do I love my babies my children I love coming to work every day there are hard days don't make it hard sometimes but I wouldn't anything else we are so proud of us wives of the work that she does her at Dogwood every single day she is the kind of teacher that you want your kids to be in her class she loves her kids she make sure that they know that she loves she wants I love learning she make sure they learn at high levels every single day every single kid so we could not be more proud for her and our students and teachers here to talk with I started tearing up actually I was so proud pepper and she deserves it I love that she's always very very positive and she's never really in a bad mood ever and if she is to try to stay in a good mood and she loves her coffee a lot and I'll drink and I'm very grateful for her me and he's probably the best teacher I ever had this think six years of that dogwood the kids are the best part of the job everyday I want to come in to make them feel safe on make them feel loved and I want them to learn just a little bit and every day I try to make it a point to be so positive with them and really encouraging with them and so to know that they feel that for me is a special and you know it's it really is why I do what I do can you believe this
