hi my name is Karen 20 and I teach gifted here at dogwood gifted education in our processes and products how easy it can be very confusing even for people who teach it so it is supposed to be a Clarity document that gives people information on why we do what we are we doing it and it's for everyone is for people to teach gifted administrators who lead in schools were there to get two populations it's for teachers because if the kids are in general education teachers classes and is her parents to the fact that I had maybe their kids are gifted or what to do when they know that they are identified that is big that the document focuses on is how we identify gifted students and the criteria that is used based on the state of Tennessee's regulations so that includes looking at academic achievement their creativity and then also their cognitive measure that we that's a complete evaluation when I first started I kind of wish that I would have had it to kind of know what to do as a gifted teacher so in the past few years we've had about 350 teachers that is been shared with and that kind of gives them Clarity on how to communicate meet with parents at their schools and then also I'm I shared with parents to have said wow this is a lot of information that I wanted it so detailed I was able to find exactly what I needed it's very accessible and it was very clear and explicit on expectations and how this will work and what's best for my kid a lot of times when there is a lack of information people fill it with Miss understand or just misconceptions about what vicious provides overarching Clarity for parents and teachers and administrators to all feel like we're on the same page to do it best for kids
